We can’t all spend our summer days at the beach. If you’re planning more of a stay-cation than a vacation this summer, our Photography the Basics course might be just the thing for you. We are offering the summer session of our popular 6-week course at a special price.

This course will help you get along with your camera equipment. Like every painter needs to know his brushes, you as photographer should know your tool. If you have a basic point and shoot or a complex SLR camera, this is the  photography course for you. We study each of the camera’s systems and then learn how they work together. We’ll have you out of auto mode faster that you thought possible. And then you’ll be poised to capture awesome images of summer fun and that gorgeous New England fall foliage that will be here before we know it.

We believe in hands-on learning, so our Photography the Basics course combines classroom time with plenty of practice time in the studio. Weekly homework assignments reinforce each week’s lesson, too. (Homework? In the summer? We promise – the assignments are fun and worthwhile.) All this, plus chocolate chip cookies and air conditioning.
