  • “Good enough” isn’t good enough

We’ve talked about how a C1M headshot differs from the typical experience. (If you missed that, you can find it here: Why people don’t like their headshots.) We believe that all the prep work we do lays a solid foundation for client satisfaction. But, so far, we’ve only talked about what happens up until you get in front of the camera – and that is only half the story.

As we’ve said before, we allow plenty of time for you to relax. We also provide direction on exactly how to pose so that you’ll come across exactly as you want to to your prospective clients. But that’s not all.

Too often, headshot photographers will fire off a quick two or three shots, obtain one that seems good enough, and call it a day. We are of the firm belief that “good enough” just isn’t good enough. We start with a more generous set of images. Then, we hit pause. Together, we’ll pick the best of that set, and then, you step back in front of the camera and we see if we can outdo ourselves. If need be, we’ll repeat the whole process again, until you feel like you’re looking at the best possible image of yourself.

But we’re still not done. Once we have the best image we can get, we’ll begin editing, and you get to be part of that process, too. Why? Because everyone has their favorite – and not-so-favorite – features. That’s a very subjective thing. Were we to edit after you’ve left the studio, the chances are that we’d miss a detail that matters to you. To us, it’s just not worth the risk. We’d rather have you right there, so that you can guide the process. That way, before you leave our studio, you know exactly what the finished product will look like. (And if, by some chance, you decide later on that something still isn’t quite right, our headshots guarantee has your back.)

If you want different results, sometimes you have to take a different approach. That’s true for just about anything. If you’d like to experience the difference our unique approach could make to your headshot experience, we’d love to work with you. Because you deserve better than “good enough.” For more information, or to book an appointment, visit our headshots page.
