Executive Headshot Before and After

Whenever we talk about our Executive Headshot programs, we can’t help mentioning our collaborative editing.

Time and again, our clients call it out as one of the things they like best. They call it the magic. We call it digital surgery. Whatever name it goes by, though, the important thing is that we do it together. Why? Because beauty – or handsomeness – isn’t just in the eye of the beholder. It’s a subjective thing, and we’re often our worst critic. We all have some little flaw that only we see. If we edit without your input, we might miss that one little thing that will drive you nuts every time you look at your executive headshot. And no one wants that. It’s our goal to provide you with an executive headshot you’re proud to use. One you’re excited about, even.

The thing is, we’ve all see Photoshop nightmares that leave people saying, “That doesn’t even look like …” whoever the image is of. No one wants that, either. We make sure we never take it too far, too.

All of our talk is cheap without proof. But it’s hard to find someone who is willing to share their “before” once they’ve see the result of their “after.” Lucky for us John* – recent client and brave soul – said he didn’t mind. And so now, we can show you exactly the difference between an executive headshot “before” and an executive headshot “after.”

On the left is, really, a pretty decent photo. We could have stopped there and still improved on the headshot John was using before coming to C1M. (Maybe a little color adjustment to counter the bleaching effect of studio lights.) But we like to bring our talents fully to bear. And we like to wow our clients.

How did we do? According to John, this is the best image of himself he’s ever had. We love to hear that. And we think you’ll agree that his “after” still looks like him – just with maybe a better night’s rest.
