Should you choose a Nip & Tuck Headshot?
To tuck or not to tuck … that is the question.
When you have your headshot taken by a professional photographer, chances are that you’re expecting some light photo editing. Most of us have the occasional blemish we’d like removed, or a brow furrowed from years of deep thought that we’d like softened. But how much is too much?
Is there ever a reason to go beyond light editing? At C1M, we believe the answer to that question is “yes.”
For some of our clients, light editing does the trick. Many, however, find that they prefer our slightly more thorough nip & tuck headshot treatment.
Please understand – the goal is never to eliminate all character from your face. In fact, we strive to highlight your character, your experience, and your credibility. Nor is the goal to make you look like anyone other than yourself. We want you to leave with an image that you feel looks like you at your absolute best. That’s why we always edit your image while you wait and with your input. That way, we never miss something that bothers you. And we never push it too far, either.
What we’re trying to do with our nip & tuck headshot option is eliminate any distractions that keep your photo from connecting with a potential client. Whether that distraction is dark circles under your eyes or a few extra holiday pounds (which most of us do battle with from time to time), it’s worth an honest look at what eliminating it can do for your image.
