“Because my target market is in Japan, I want to show myself as an approachable person that transcends cultural lines. Walter and I worked together to find just the right type of picture that will be appealing and go beyond and reach my target audience just the way that I wanted to.

My business is translation, and it’s all about detail – every single detail you can catch. That’s why I was impressed by Walter’s organization and eye for detail. It was clear that everything, from the welcome to the studio to the picture-taking itself, was well thought out.

I will tell you that I’ve had my headshot done in the last 12 months, but it was a quick snap and a couple minutes on Photoshop. There was no dialogue whatsoever. Initially, I thought that headshot was actually pretty good. Now I’ve gone through this experience with Walter, where he took the time to learn about me and allowed me to learn about him. I would say that process is incredibly important in getting your headshot done. It shows in the final product.
